Quality Content, Flexible Delivery Options

A growing number of our titles are supported by assignable learning tools that can be delivered and graded within your institution’s LMS/VLE via an Oxford Learning Link Direct cartridge or in Oxford’s user-friendly, cloud-based platform, Oxford Learning Cloud. To find out if one or more of these options are available for your book, consult the preface, visit the title’s Learning Link page, or inquire with your local Oxford representative.

Get Started

Instructors: To get started with the assignable digital resources for your text, select the delivery method you intend to use:

  1. Oxford Learning Link Direct

Resources are integrated within your institution’s Learning Management System. This solution make your LMS a single point of access for Oxford materials, allowing for single sign-on and gradebook integration.

Accessing your text’s content in your school’s LMS/VLE via Oxford Learning Link Direct requires a one-time integration process:

    1. Go to Oxford Learning Link and use the search bar to find your text. Select your text in the search results and then click on Instructor Resources link.
    2. Locate and download the Oxford Learning Link Direct Course Package on the Instructor Resources page.
      1. On the Instructor Resources screen, click “LMS/VLE Course Packages” to reveal a list of available course packages. Locate the cartridge labeled “Oxford Learning Link Direct Course Package”.
      2. Click the download icon next to the “Oxford Learning Link Direct Course Package” to retrieve the package. It will download as a .zip file which includes the actual cartridge file and instructions for installation.
    3. Hand the course package zip file to your local LMS administrator for installation. Your LMS administrator will need to contact our support team for a key/secret that will allow Oxford resources to be unlocked within your LMS.
    4. Import the Oxford content into a course within your LMS and then organize, delete, hide, or otherwise adjust the content settings to suit your needs.

Sharing instructor resources with students

The instructor resources that accompany the title you have adopted are included in Learning Cloud and in the Learning Link Direct cartridge (for use in your campus LMS/VLE). You can download any resource using the links provided. However, these links will not work for your students, even if you make the OUP-provided links available to students, they will not be able to access the resources because they do not have instructor permissions.

If you wish to share an OUP-provided instructor resource with your students (e.g., a PowerPoint presentation), you must first download it, and then re-post it in your course.

If you have any questions about how to do this, please either contact your local LMS/VLE support team, visit our customer support FAQ site, or contact OUP technical support by email at learningcloud.support@oup.com. Finally, if you still need assistance, our U.S. technical support team offers telephone support at 855-281-8749. (International callers must preface the number with 00, or your country’s specific exit code.) Hours of operation are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time).
